Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission 2023: Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has started the registration for NVS Class 6 Admission. Students who want to take admission in class 6 in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya can fill the application form on the official website navodaya.gov.in. The last date to apply for admission is January 31, 2023.
NVS 6th Admission 2023: Prescribed eligibility
Candidates who are bonafide residents of the district and studying in class V in the academic session 2022-23 in Govt./ Govt. recognized school in the same district where JNV is functioning and to which they are seeking admission. Studied full academic session in each class and passed classes III & IV from Govt. / Govt. recognized school and born between 01.05.2011 to 30.04.2013 (Both the dates inclusive)
Reservation
- At least 75% Seats in a district will be filled by candidates from rural areas.
- Reservation for SC, ST, OBC and Divyang candidates as per Govt. Norms.
- Minimum 1/3 of the seats are reserved for girl students.
- Reservation for children belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes is done in proportion to the population of the concerned district. The national ratio in any district should be at least 15% SC and 7% ST and not more than 50 percent SC ST.
- Apart from the registered caste and tribal reservation, 27 percent reservation will be given to the candidates belonging to other backward classes.
- Reservation of people belonging to other backward classes will be done according to the central list published from time to time.
- Children of the same district can apply for admission in Navodaya Vidyalaya, in which the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya will be open.

- Register and login to access the Admission Portal.
- Fill the required information and upload the asked documents

All the students who get NVS Class 6th Admission 2023 will be admitted on the basis of qualifying examination. Which is known as Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test. Navodaya Vidyalaya 2023 selection test is organized by exam CBSE. Navodaya Vidyalaya Exam 2023 is conducted on all India basis at all block level and district level. Multiple choice questions are asked in this exam. In which children from urban and rural areas take part.
Students who pass this exam get admission in class VI. All the students who get education from class 9th to 12th free of cost in Navodaya Vidyalaya. Students studying in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya 2023 have to deposit ₹ 600 every month for the School Development Fund.
